Cruise Against Cancer

On October 4th the 2015 Cruise Against Cancer cruised to a great success raising over $25,000 thanks to hosts, Marianne and Saul Spector!  Many thanks also to Art LiPuma from Seaside Wine and Spirts in Old Saybrook for organizing a showcase of fine wines for an exclusive wine tasting.  We lucked out with a beautiful day; the sun came out just in time to cruise up the Connecticut River on the Lady Katharine, enjoying the early fall foliage and memorable scenery.  The fundraiser was organized in memory of Louise DeChesser, sister of Marianne, to financially assist other Connecticut cancer patients and their families! A fun time was had by all; we “Wined A little and Laughed A lot” in honor of Louise, just as she would have liked it!
